Amalfi Coast

“Shoo, I am ready to take on the world!” My thought as I spent this past weekend doing some lone traveling. The level of contentedness I can hardly explain as I sat in the Naples train station just watching as people passed me by. Couple things about the Amalfi coast: lemons, lemons everywhere, the men are extra forward (Annie received a marriage proposal seriously), the water is c r y s t a l clear, limoncello, orange trees abundant, clean, and absolutely magical.

Capri

Uhhhh, what! Is this place real?! The “yellow line” boat tour took us around the island of Capri showing us where the president of Ferrari lives, white caves, green grottos, the famous three rock formations, etc. So much laughter as we entered the blue grotto in a boat through a TINY entrance. Enchanting.

I had my first mint julep in honor of my hometown’s Derby celebration and have objectively evaluated and decided it’s sooo not my thing.

Pompeii

Lovin’ the sun! Jacob would love it here, frozen in time. It’s a must see.
