Heavenly steaks at Crazy Horse
The Robbins girls have lost their minds…hair, too.
Cheesecake round 1. Haha! Not quite right. Boy, did we get it right round 2.
Alice and Bruce hosted the loveliest of lovely dinner parties for our neighbors and some other friends. Alice’s famous white chili + spice-ful carrot cake + Chocolate Box Shiraz + hilarious (worldly) company = success success! My heart melted as Alice herded everyone into the living room, silence, “a toast to Gracie…” All of our company’s eyes on me and my heart so full as we talked the night away about youth, opportunity, and all the places to see. I adored hearing story after story of all these people’s travels around the globe, Saudi Arabia, England, Scotland, and so on. We are so leetle on this planet.
Oh! How could I forget. I cut my first chicken. Talking chicken taken completely apart, I named him Frank. It went relatively well, given my aversions. I’ve been on a Meg Ryan kick lately. Classics. Blessings abundant from over here. Grateful for those who stay up/get up to talk in the wee hours to adjust for absurd time differences. Grateful for family. Grateful for friends that become family. Love, love.
